PROJECT MANAGER / EVENT MANAGER (m/w)

Responsibilities:

  • Execute our electronic music festivals and club events flawlessly (operational and logistical project management in close collaboration with our General Manager)
  • Ensure all events are delivered on-time, in consideration of the creative and technical plans and within the scope of the budget
  • Oversee the execution of all aspects of event productions (sound & light, stage construction, site production, food & beverage, security, crowd services, cleaning, transportation etc.)
  • Curate and execute running orders and agendas for load-in/ load-out/transportation/event, take care of equipment lists, staff lists, signage overview plans etc.
  • Collaborate across different departments to ensure successful executions (production, marketing, talent buying, artist handling, accounting, management)
  • Coordinate and source new event staff (freelancers, suppliers & vendors)
  • Create and administrate projects in Asana team management software

Ideal Candidate:

  • Profound work experience in event production, preferably in music events (festival, concerts etc.)
  • You are a superman or superwoman when it comes to a flawlessly structured workflow. You are super-well organised, you always have a precise overview of all timings and outstanding tasks and all your files and documents are saved in a systematically organized order at any time
  • You are a problem solver, capable of managing and directing multiple events consistently
  • You have a strong understanding of complex logistical and fundamental technical aspects of large events
  • You are confident in negotiating prices until budget targets are met
  • You work well under pressure, and you are not easily stressed
  • You are an experienced user of regular office software (MAC or PC, Excel, Google Spreadsheets etc.)
  • If you might have some experience in event planning software, that’s plus (CAD, 3D)
  • You are fluent in English, that’s essential, and preferably in German, too. The more other languages you know, the better!
  • You are flexible regarding working hours (work at night, on weekends, loooong event shifts etc.)
  • You are passionate about events in the electronic music world
  • Based in Berlin
